SEO TOOL
URL Encoder & Decoder
Encode or decode URLs, query parameters and special characters. Choose whether to process a complete URL or an individual URL component, with results generated directly in your browser.
WHAT TO KNOW
When URL encoding is necessary
URL encoding represents characters in a format suitable for use within web addresses, query strings and other URL components.
Encoding an entire URL is not always the same as encoding one of its components. Check the intended use to avoid double encoding or broken links.
HOW TO USE THIS TOOL
Understand the difference between URL and component encoding
Complete URL encoding preserves structural characters such as forward slashes, question marks and ampersands. Component encoding also encodes these characters, making it more appropriate for individual query parameter values.
Decoding reverses percent-encoding where possible. Invalid encoded sequences are reported rather than silently changed.
Encode or decode your URL
Enter a URL or text, select the conversion method and generate the result.
All conversions take place locally in your browser. No URL or text is submitted to a server.
